What can a private GP do?

General practitioners are a good starting point for any health concern. They have a broad medical skill set with extensive experience in acute and chronic medicine. They can provide advice, reassurance, further investigations and blood tests, prescriptions and onward referral to specialists where necessary.

What can I see the GP about?

Our private GP services are here for whatever is worrying you. We can provide comprehensive medical care for acute medical conditions (infections, digestive issues and gastrointestinal problems, minor injuries and wound care); chronic disease management (diabetic and blood pressure reviews, cardiovascular risk assessments, asthma and respiratory condition management); preventive health care (Health assessment and screening); and specialist referrals

Does seeing a private GP affect my relationship with my NHS GP?
Having a private GP appointment does not result in any changes to the care you receive from the NHS, and we recommend that you stay registered with your local NHS GP practice. We will liaise directly with them to keep them informed of your medical diagnoses or further investigatory or treatment recommendations.
