Dr Joanne Dobson is a GMC-registered doctor who graduated from Imperial College London in 2003. She is a senior GP partner at a large teaching practice in Wakefield and has developed extensive experience in women’s health throughout her career.
She is a member of the British Menopause Society and has undertaken advanced training and qualifications in menopause care, enabling her to provide up-to-date, evidence-based assessment and treatment for women experiencing menopausal symptoms.
Dr Dobson supports women with both straightforward and more complex menopause care needs. She has experience managing patients with complex medical or family histories, as well as those who experience side effects from, or do not respond to, standard hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
Where appropriate, she is also able to prescribe testosterone for women experiencing low libido and will carefully monitor blood levels to ensure treatment remains safe and effective.
