Dr Parsons is a highly experienced, GMC-registered General Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience across primary care, urgent and emergency medicine, hospital specialties, and medical leadership roles. He graduated from Imperial College London and completed his GP training in Yorkshire, qualifying as a GP in 2018. His broad background enables him to assess and manage both routine and complex medical problems with confidence, precision, and compassion.

Dr Parsons has worked extensively in in-hours and out-of-hours general practice, urgent treatment centres, emergency departments, and community settings across Yorkshire and other regions of the UK. This wide-ranging experience has given him exceptional diagnostic skills, strong risk awareness, and the ability to deliver calm, effective care under pressure. He is particularly skilled in managing acute presentations, complex decision-making, and patients with multiple or undifferentiated problems, across all age groups.

In addition to his GP work, Dr Parsons holds senior clinical leadership roles and currently works as a Lead Medical Examiner. In this capacity, he is closely involved in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety processes, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional independence. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail, high professional standards, and compassionate communication, particularly in sensitive or complex situations.

Dr Parsons is an experienced teacher and mentor, having supervised GP registrars, medical students, and multidisciplinary clinicians, and regularly delivers education in resuscitation, acute care, and clinical decision-making both nationally and internationally.
